Pop Art Sculptures
Emerging in the US and the UK in the 1950s, pop art drew art out of the elitist sphere and into popular culture. Often incorporating mass-produced items and vivid color, pop art sculpture emphasizes the banal elements of a culture by removing them from their known context to create an element of irony. When edgy and bold pop art is combined with an ancient material like bronze, the result is sure to be fascinating and thought-provoking.
